Desktop Helper App

The finals.id helper app runs in the background alongside Steam on your PC, Mac, or Linux device. If you want to keep your data up to date, you need to keep this running in the background, or open it once every 24 hours, since that is how long we can use a login token before it expires. With it, you will be able to see detailed weapon stats, win rates, and match history, among other things.

Unfortunately, due to limitations imposed by the Embark data API, the helper is our only method to get this data. Every release is run through an automated VirusTotal scan, the results of which are appended to each release and are available for your perusal.

How it works

  1. Download and install the helper app for your OS.
  2. Make sure Steam is running and you are logged in.
  3. Launch the helper.
  4. Congratulations! Your data is now synced for the next 24 hours.

Please keep the helper running in the background to automatically renew that timer. This is a limitation of the methods we use to get the data, and unfortunately cannot be bypassed, or we would have done so already.

The app does not inject into the game or modify any files, needs no elevated permissions, and can be quit at any time.
