Who we are

Kian Bröse (“we”) run this tool and are the data controller. Contact: @kianbrose on Discord or [email protected]. Our server is in Sweden (EEA); the GDPR applies.

What we process

To look up your THE FINALS stats we process personal data: your game session token, your in-game username (e.g. you#1234), and the player statistics retrieved for that account. When you browse the site, and only with your consent, we may also process basic, non-identifying usage information through our analytics service (see Cookies & analytics below). We do not collect your name or email. If you sign in with Steam to manage your account, we process your SteamID to identify you; and if you then choose to link your Discord account, we store its user id and display name to remember that link. Both are optional and used only to connect those accounts to your Finals profile.

Cookies & analytics

We use a small number of cookies. One simply remembers your cookie choice so we don’t ask again. With your consent, we also use a third-party analytics service to understand how the site is used and to improve it; it may set its own cookies and process general usage and device information, including outside the EEA. Nothing analytics-related loads unless you accept, and you can change your choice at any time.

Purpose & legal basis

Solely to fetch and show your statistics, based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw consent anytime by stopping the helper or emailing us; future processing then stops. Optional analytics run only with your separate consent, given through the cookie banner; withdrawing it stops that use going forward.

Recipients & transfers

We host the stats servers ourselves on local hardware, and your game token and game statistics aren’t shared, transferred or sold to third parties — they’re only shown on this website for the player-statistics purpose described above.

We also use a third-party analytics service to understand how the website itself is used. With your consent, it may set its own cookies and process general usage and device information, which can include processing outside the EEA under appropriate safeguards.

Retention

Session tokens expire and are thus invalid after 24 hours. Cached player statistics are kept. We remember your cookie choice for a limited time, and any analytics data is kept by our provider under its own retention policy.

Security

Session tokens are login credentials; we store them in a local database and only for the 24-hour refresh window.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a portable copy, and withdraw consent, at any time via @kianbrose on Discord or [email protected]. You can also complain to the Swedish supervisory authority, IMY (imy.se).
